Wednesday’s Wish: Flash with Slow Shutter Speed

Dear Boss,

There were numerous opportunities today, both on the helicopter ride and after we returned home, for Reina to experiment with shutter speed. The effects of freezing the action intrigued her greatly.

The tensions and emotions remain high at the Tucker household. While this is to be expected, it must certainly make for a difficult assignment. Now that I can witness it firsthand, I admit to admiration for Camarin’s fortitude.

During our outing, she was rather nervous about allowing Sean to ride in the helicopter without her, but common sense prevailed. We would be as adept from the ground at keeping the helicopter safe as she would have been inside it.

When I first learned of Camarin’s mission, I failed to understand why the League had assigned her to a task that seemingly begs for compassion and gentleness. She strikes me as entirely too rigid, opinionated, and forthright to be effective. After watching her with Sean, it’s clear she is all of those things and yet precisely what he needs.
